A collision led to Club Deportivo Polonia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Zadornin Casado hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Peycho Kolovski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilabert Japón. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. In the 10th match minute, Club Deportivo Polonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zadornin Casado to maneuver through the defense. Club Deportivo Polonia's Mundo Santiago quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Slavey Polihronov, made in the 16th minute of the game. When Zadornin Casado fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Polonia's protests and gave Zadornin Casado a yellow card for diving instead. Demetrio Bajo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Tzonko Nitov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The VN SOKOLI-VARNA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Gilabert Japón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tzonko Nitov in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Trendafil Tilev made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of VN SOKOLI-VARNA booed when Club Deportivo Polonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Lozano didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Ilko Garvanov put in a rough tackle. After 55 played minutes VN SOKOLI-VARNA got a freekick which was hit by Ilko Garvanov. Antxoka Macia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ilko Zvúncharov hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 82 minutes in the game, Alberto Orozco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kuncho Gergov having to interfere. Trendafil Tilev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Ilko Zvúncharov got a free kick in the 95th minute. There was no doubt that VN SOKOLI-VARNA were the better team. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
