The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Baran Alp Kavaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Constancio's late challenge caught a CİCERO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Constancio helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Hermosillo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of CİCERO:s goal. The referee gave CİCERO a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anıl Arda Kocakalp, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat. 0-1. When Eusebio Calvet came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Hermosillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusebio Calvet couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CİCERO getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Aytunç Tunçöven hit a great ball. In the 23rd match minute, CİCERO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Arda Kocakalp to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Hermosillo FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Mateo Primeiro hit a great ball. İsa Darga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Mano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Calvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Silvano Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Murathan Temren in the 44th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hermosillo FC's zone, Acar Özilter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Benat came out of the goal and Acar Özilter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Joaquin Mano made the kick off in the second half. When Gustavo Lizar came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Hermosillo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Lizar couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Hermosillo FC booed when CİCERO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baran Alp Kavaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Saturnino Endura sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and CİCERO's İsa Darga didn't even have to move. İsa Darga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Calvet, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acar Özilter in the 57th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silvano Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvano Benat made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Murathan Temren sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Hermosillo FC's Silvano Benat got control of the ball when Murathan Temren tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 69th minute, Murathan Temren left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CİCERO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. CİCERO's Ali Behzat Timurcan was substituted for Murathan Temren. In the 75th play minute Ali Behzat Timurcan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvano Benat. 1-3. In the 81st minute Joaquin Mano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but İsa Darga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CİCERO! The referee gave Hermosillo FC a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Saturnino Endura, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CİCERO's İsa Darga. 2-3. Ali Behzat Timurcan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Silvano Benat firmly grabbed it by the left post. Silvano Benat was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ali Behzat Timurcan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 87 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Arda Kocakalp in the 90th minute of play forced Hermosillo FC's goalkeeper Silvano Benat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Veysel Sarı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The CİCERO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing CİCERO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
