With a little luck, Vila Mascote FC's Rafinha Godoi got control of the ball when Ramiro Rojas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gilabert Japón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 11th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoel Salgado got free with Rafinha Godoi in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute, Venceslás Vives hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Polonia's goal looked a bit too open when Rodriguinho Ceresso came free, but Gilabert Japón reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zoel Salgado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. Club Deportivo Polonia's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Amador Lozano's late challenge caught a Vila Mascote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Lozano helped the player get up and apologised. After 31 played minutes Club Deportivo Polonia got a freekick which was hit by Amador Lozano. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Mundo Santiago got a free kick in the 32nd minute. During the 34th minute of the match Amador Lozano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Amador Lozano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 35th match minute, Club Deportivo Polonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Lozano to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes, Cássio Araújo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila Mascote FC and the Club Deportivo Polonia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafinha Godoi made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Zadornin Casado sent off a good shot on target. Gilabert Japón didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cássio Araújo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 47 minutes of play, Vila Mascote FC's Olavo Bastos made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilabert Japón was left in no man's land by his defense there!

Gilabert Japón showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafim Vinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Gilabert Japón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodriguinho Ceresso in the 58th minute of the match. Rafinha Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zadornin Casado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Deportivo Polonia. After 87 minutes of play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Zoel Salgado made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafinha Godoi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alberto Orozco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafinha Godoi having to make a save. 96 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Polonia's goalkeeper Gilabert Japón had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fábio Pena. Vila Mascote FC played a much better game than Club Deportivo Polonia and deserved their victory. The Club Deportivo Polonia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
