Fractal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruno Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Metapalo FC's Isidoro Garcia tried to score from far away in the 48th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Elizardo made a kick off. In the 54th minute Aurelio Elizardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amado Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliciano Noe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Mateo in the 57th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Bruno Mateo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Noe was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Ermegildo Mikolas made in the 60th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arturo Cambranes however managed to control. In the 61st minute, Metapalo FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bruno Mateo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 71st minute, Fractal FC's Bruno Mateo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Azeari couldn't finish the play. After 92 played minutes Metapalo FC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Olo. Dario Chuse charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dario Chuse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 93 minutes into the game, one of Metapalo FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 94th minute there was a penalty for Fractal FC. Bruno Mateo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Feliciano Noe. 0-5. Victor Azeari struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Feliciano Noe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fractal FC. Feliciano Noe was a little too slow when Bruno Mateo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 99th minute. The score was now 0-6. Fractal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
