Dito Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giovani Sergipano in the 41st minute of play. Chicão Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Fabiano Dracena in the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Tadeu Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chicão Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Maranhense in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Geovanni Pinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Trindade Atlético Club's goal looked a bit too open when Túlio Maranhense came free, but Chicão Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Irreal Madrid could leave the field as winners, despite Trindade Atlético Club having more of the ball for most of the match.
