Sydney Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Evaristo Pelagius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Sydney Antunes made a huge save. If Rogelio Quintyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Ponciano took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Antunes. Sydney Antunes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Pelagius in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Antunes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogelio Quintyn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's zone, Angelo Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Antunes came out of the goal and Angelo Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Atletas Campesinos F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Evaristo Pelagius hit a great ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 33 minutes into the game, when André Luiz Ceresso put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd match minute, LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Antonio Isidor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Quintyn in the 38th minute of play. Rogelio Quintyn might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Antunes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Quintyn ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Isidor in the 45th minute of play forced LADEIRA DO BATISTA FC's goalkeeper Sydney Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Silvério Aparecido made the kick off in the second half. When Roberto Ortiz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
