The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Fabiano Dracena's late challenge caught a DREAM TEAM WORLD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Fabiano Dracena helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Irreal Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Dracena to maneuver through the defense. A nice corner shot did that Lenílson Azevedo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damian Firman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Damian Firman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lenílson Azevedo in the 9th minute of play. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Severo Chano hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Denis Montae got a free kick in the 11th minute. Damian Firman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lenílson Azevedo in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Irreal Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Teo Quirze came free, but Dito Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Passos in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Firman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 23 played minutes DREAM TEAM WORLD got a freekick which was hit by Teo Quirze. When William Couto came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Irreal Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that William Couto couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andres Leocadio during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to DREAM TEAM WORLD getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Andres Leocadio hit a great ball. William Coutos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Damian Firman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Irreal Madrid's goalkeeper Dito Monteiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Luís Fabiano Dracena hit a great ball. Dito Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaston Jakue, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Irreal Madrid's Dito Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Jakue in the 42nd minute of play. After 43 minutes of play, DREAM TEAM WORLD's Teo Quirze made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dito Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half DREAM TEAM WORLD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luís Fabiano Dracena to make the kick off. A collision led to Irreal Madrid getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. William Couto hit a great ball. Gaston Jakue hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Irreal Madrid's Dito Monteiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Irreal Madrid from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Gaston Jakue took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Dito Monteiro to make any attempt to save it. In the 77th minute, William Couto made a precise shot to the right of Damian Firman. DREAM TEAM WORLD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 83 minutes into the game, Teo Quirze cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Dito Monteiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. William Couto took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damian Firman. Damian Firman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 93rdth minute of the game Lenílson Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DREAM TEAM WORLD's Damian Firman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 95 played minutes DREAM TEAM WORLD got a freekick which was hit by Severo Chano. Damian Firman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Fabiano Dracena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The DREAM TEAM WORLD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
