After having played for 15 minutes, Antonio Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Isidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for De Kasteelheren! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Remigio Katia during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 minutes, Delmar Seme mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atletas Campesinos F.C. and the De Kasteelheren players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Delmar Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Kevin Rolink was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Kasteelheren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. A collision led to De Kasteelheren getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Kevin Rolink hit a great ball. In the 32nd match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luc Eiting to maneuver through the defense. De Kasteelheren's Bernard Mülder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Isidor in the 33rd minute of play. With a little luck, Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Israel Bortzaioriz got control of the ball when Sjoerd van Asten tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard Mülder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Pelagius, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Sjoerd van Asten was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Kasteelheren's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletas Campesinos F.C. the free kick. The supporters of Atletas Campesinos F.C. booed when De Kasteelheren was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sjoerd van Asten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Mülder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ponciano in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Atletas Campesinos F.C. were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evaristo Pelagius stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Pieter-Jan Staarman fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Kasteelheren's protests and gave Pieter-Jan Staarman a yellow card for diving instead. Pieter-Jan Staarman kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Evaristo Pelagius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernard Mülder. That made the score 1-3 after 55 minutes of play. With a little luck, De Kasteelheren's Bernard Mülder got control of the ball when Evaristo Pelagius tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 played minutes Atletas Campesinos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Nataniel. Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Israel Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pieter-Jan Staarman in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletas Campesinos F.C.'s Evaristo Pelagius slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernard Mülder. That made the score 1-4 after 67 minutes of play. After 76 played minutes, De Kasteelheren's Pieter-Jan Staarman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Israel Bortzaioriz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Kasteelheren reached it. Bernard Mülder made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Evaristo Pelagius sent off a good shot on target. Israel Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sjoerd van Asten in the 84th minute of play. Antonio Isidor hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The Atletas Campesinos F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Atletas Campesinos F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
