After 4 played minutes Unidad de Matanza got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Quin. Papillon AC's Geronimo Hegoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Pero in the 9th minute of play. Octavio Raymond made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Gartxot in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Ebardo came free, but Octavio Raymond reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute Cayetano Ebardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Raymond saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jose Muno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Geronimo Hegoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Papillon AC's Geronimo Hegoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Papillon AC from getting a goal against them. Geronimo Hegoi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Melchor Montes's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Melchor Montes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Hegoi. Papillon AC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melchor Montes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Geronimo Hegoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Santo Ganix showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Benigno Johans's late challenge caught a Unidad de Matanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benigno Johans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benigno Johans to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 43 in the game by Melchor Montes from a close distance when the talented Geronimo Hegoi managed to make a qualified save. Papillon AC's players were relieved. During the 44th minute of the match Benigno Johans completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uriel Perico during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
