In the 4th minute, Ricardo Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Papillon AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Criston to maneuver through the defense. Santo Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Narciso Froylan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Papillon AC's Eugenio Gartxot got a free kick in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Montes came free, but Narciso Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leon Pero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso Froylan having to interfere. Papillon AC's Narciso Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Ganix in the 19th minute of play. Jose Muno took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Narciso Froylan. Narciso Froylan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Unidad de Matanza's Melchor Montes got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Muno in the 36th minute of play forced Papillon AC's goalkeeper Narciso Froylan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Benigno Johans fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papillon AC's protests and gave Benigno Johans a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Johans hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Papillon AC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Montes came free, but Narciso Froylan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Melchor Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Froylan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eugenio Gartxot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Papillon AC's Narciso Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Muno in the 53rd minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Unidad de Matanza's Jose Muno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Narciso Froylan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eugenio Gartxot took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octavio Raymond. Octavio Raymond dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Octavio Raymond showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Gartxot in the 63rd minute of the match. If Benigno Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Montes in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Narciso Froylan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 72 minutes, Victorino Barea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Papillon AC and the Unidad de Matanza players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 72nd minute, Victorino Barea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the game, Eugenio Gartxot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Octavio Raymond was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 78th minute, Jose Muno reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Narciso Froylan. The goal made the score 2-3. Papillon AC's Narciso Froylan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Montes in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Jose Muno managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unidad de Matanza's supporters rose to their feet, but Jose Muno was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Froylan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Amancio Diagur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Papillon AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unidad de Matanza the free kick. Amancio Diagur hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Unidad de Matanza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Papillon AC.
