Túlio Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eddie Kjellkvist in the 6th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Dráuzio Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internazionale-RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráuzio Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Mattsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 14 minutes into the game, Robíño Football Club's Eddie Kjellkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Túlio Vale made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Roger Rosén was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Túlio Vale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eddie Kjellkvist's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Túlio Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt Berggren, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Samuca Montenegro struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Sebastian Mattsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Internazionale-RS. After having played for 44 minutes, Dráuzio Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale-RS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Saldanha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Robíño Football Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With his leg Túlio Vale managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Robíño Football Club's Jens-Ove Lindkvist fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Túlio Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Kjellkvist in the 53rd minute of play. Túlio Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddie Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Dráuzio Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 64 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Costa. Eddie Kjellkvist came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Túlio Vale could save by the left post. Túlio Vale didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eddie Kjellkvist went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 73 played minutes Robíño Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Roger Rosén. Sebastian Mattsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Rosén's late challenge caught a Internazionale-RS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Rosén helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Jens-Ove Lindkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Mattsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráuzio Saldanha in the 92nd minute of play.
