Teodoro Costa's late challenge caught a THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 32 minutes, Zé Carlos Secco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Internazionale-RS and the THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Internazionale-RS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Secco to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agnaldo Diniz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ismael de Lara in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filipe Travassos saved Internazionale-RS from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the THESPA KUSATSU GUNMA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
