After 4 minutes Torino SSA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kauã Damião who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Nascimento in the 5th minute of play forced Torino SSA's goalkeeper Egídio Prado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 11 played minutes Torino SSA got a freekick which was hit by Benjamim Fernandes. Edmundo Alagoano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Benedito Nóbrega. 1-1. Kauã Damião's late challenge caught a Torino SSA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
