Fabio Ponce came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Torino SSA's Leonardo Maciel. But to his dismay, Leonardo Maciel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmundo Alagoano to make the kick off. Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's Fabio Ponce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Telmo Leme in the 52nd minute of play. Paulo Renato Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Renato Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fabio Ponce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmo Gomes went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato's zone, Edmundo Alagoano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Ponce came out of the goal and Edmundo Alagoano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 79 played minutes Lechero«ISTDG» Ambato got a freekick which was hit by Udalaitz Lluch. Torino SSA made a substitution. Raimundo Costa replaced Benjamim Fernandes. Torino SSA's Reginaldo Abraão was substituted for Telmo Leme. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Maciel during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 87th minute, Leonardo Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torino SSA had won after a very even match.
