Caco Falcão started the match with the kick off. But to his dismay, Carlinhos Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. William Favoretto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, São Paulo da Floresta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jefferson Mazza to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Caco Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Hamdi Şahtürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Utku Dağdelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in São Paulo da Floresta's zone, Mustafa Emre Vezir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Fernando Almeida came out of the goal and Mustafa Emre Vezir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Hafiz Süleymanoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Fernando Almeida having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mustafa Emre Vezir to strike the kick off in the second half. Caco Falcão struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Ahmet Hamdi Şahtürk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo da Floresta.
