Spectators: 7754 (Terracing: 5817, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Jonny Strömberg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Dick Brandt. In the 3rd minute, Diego Alaerts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sven-Edvin Vedholm was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Diego Alaerts put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Sven-Edvin Vedholm. In the 9th minute, Stig-Arne Ahlerot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daan Owerckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dick Brandt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Ouagadougou National's Daan Owerckx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save FC Ouagadougou National from getting a goal against them. Stig-Arne Ahlerot hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute Diego Alaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonny Strömberg charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Strömberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonny Strömberg hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Dexiators's Robin Aleberg dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After the first half FC Ouagadougou National were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Diego Alaerts made the kick off in the second half. Adolf Smedts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven-Edvin Vedholm having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goalkeeper Sven-Edvin Vedholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeffrey Rits. In the 55th minute of the match FC Ouagadougou National got a corner. Dexiators's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jeffrey Rits ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Jeffrey Rits got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sven-Edvin Vedholm quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arvid Lekberg hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Van Eeckhout came free, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Aleberg in the 64th minute of play forced FC Ouagadougou National's goalkeeper Daan Owerckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Dexiators's Stig-Arne Ahlerot got a free kick in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the FC Ouagadougou National defense, Jonny Strömberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daan Owerckx. The FC Ouagadougou National fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daan Owerckx should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Fred Wikander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sven-Edvin Vedholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Alaerts in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Dexiators getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Michel Vall hit a great ball. Sven-Edvin Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolf Smedts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Alaerts's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm firmly grabbed it by the left post. 92 minutes into the match, Dick Brandt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daan Owerckx. FC Ouagadougou National's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dick Brandt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Dexiators walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
