The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michel Vall during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Dexiators's Michel Vall got a free kick in the 5th minute. Michel Vall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando de Andrade having to interfere. If Jonny Strömberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Dick Brandt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dexiators's supporters rose to their feet, but Dick Brandt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fernando de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Jonny Strömberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fernando de Andrade. Dexiators's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Vall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonny Strömberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilvan Pombal was the one to do the kick off. Sven-Edvin Vedholm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Lago in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Jonny Strömberg made a precise shot to the right of Luís Fernando de Andrade. União Verde FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dick Brandt got free with Luís Fernando de Andrade in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Vinícius Lago in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Jonny Strömberg charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonny Strömberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Dexiators's Jonny Strömberg got a free kick in the 71st minute. 72 minutes into the match, Dexiators's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Marques came free, but Sven-Edvin Vedholm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dick Brandt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ademir Cearense's late challenge caught a Dexiators's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ademir Cearense helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th match minute, União Verde FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ademir Cearense to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute, Lenílson Penha had to leave the field with a concussion. União Verde FC's Rui Lara was substituted for Lenílson Penha. After 89 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Michel Vall. After 92 played minutes Dexiators got a freekick which was hit by Robin Aleberg. After a rather tough play, União Verde FC's Rogério Ferraz got a free kick in the 95th minute. Johnny Söderström was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The União Verde FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Dexiators were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
