In the 19th minute Amado Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christiano Fontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Curcio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano de Souza in the 23rd minute of play. Christiano Fontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Mattos to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, LauerArmy's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Leoiar came free, but Christiano Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Aureliano Leoiar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christiano Fontes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amado Farias to make the kick off.
