AF CERRADO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ricart Futebol Clube the free kick. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Wiliam Rosa got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 8 minutes of play, AF CERRADO's Lino Araújo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fred Capixaba was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 11 minutes of play, Ricart Futebol Clube's Pedrinho Cardoso made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gil Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Cardoso in the 15th minute of play forced AF CERRADO's goalkeeper Gil Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, AF CERRADO's Eliseu Senna got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gil Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquinhos Azevedo in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Araújo in the 26th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fred Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, AF CERRADO's Waldemar Loyola sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fred Capixaba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Ricart Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Araújo came free, but Fred Capixaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Fred Capixaba throw himself and got hold of the ball when Lino Araújo in the 32ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Lino Araújo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fred Capixaba made a huge save. Thanks to some nice moves Matías Lima could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Fred Capixaba however easily saved by the left post. Matías Lima received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fred Capixaba came out and tried to block the shot, but Matías Lima slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 45th minute. Waldemar Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Fred Capixaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lino Araújo to make the kick off. The supporters of AF CERRADO booed when Ricart Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricart Futebol Clube's Fred Capixaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matías Lima in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Ricart Futebol Clube's João Adolfo do Valle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After 58 played minutes Ricart Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Cardoso. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Araújo in the 64th minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fred Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Loyola in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Araújo in the 83rd minute of play forced Ricart Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Fred Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ricart Futebol Clube's Kauan Cardoso tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Jacinto Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
