After 11 minutes, Flavio Peyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Defensores de Mar de Ajó and the LauerArmy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Omar Bartuelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Pombal in the 19th minute of the match. Donato Otoniel's late challenge caught a LauerArmy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donato Otoniel helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Donato Otoniel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Diego Lidon got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Omar Bartuelo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Pombal was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Melquiades Tristan got free with Christiano Fontes in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cesar Henry kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Melquiades Tristan could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Christiano Fontes however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Joaquim Chaves hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the game, Apolo Salvidor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LauerArmy the free kick. In the 63rd match minute, Defensores de Mar de Ajó was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Salvidor to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Fontes made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Melquiades Tristan sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th match minute, LauerArmy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano de Souza to maneuver through the defense. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Bartuelo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Defensores de Mar de Ajó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cipriano Pombal fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LauerArmy's protests and gave Cipriano Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. Defensores de Mar de Ajó were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
