Fred Capixaba was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Amado Farias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fred Capixaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Mede in the 95th minute of play. In the 96th minute Amado Farias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Capixaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo had won after a very even match.
