The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rene Tristan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rene Tristan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Programayin's Santo Careaga shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Matteo Seda came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Programayin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matteo Seda couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the game, Justo Berto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Programayin the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Justo Berto got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Igon Cancela sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Rene Tristan didn't even have to move. In the 16th match minute, Programayin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inacio Bettencourt to maneuver through the defense. When Inacio Bettencourt fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Programayin's protests and gave Inacio Bettencourt a yellow card for diving instead. The referee gave C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Justo Guerrero, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Programayin's Ortzi Aleja. 1-1. Ortzi Aleja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Laurgain in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd match minute, C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Berto to maneuver through the defense. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Santo Careaga 36 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 51 minutes, Octavio Loramendi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE and the Programayin players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rene Tristan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Careaga in the 59th minute of play. Justo Guerrero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Inacio Bettencourt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Cipriano Paulin charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Paulin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Cipriano Paulin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Octavio Loramendi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ortzi Aleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Programayin's zone, Octavio Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ortzi Aleja came out of the goal and Octavio Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE's Octavio Loramendi got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Octavio Loramendi off the ground. A collision led to C.S. y D. GENERAL LAVALLE getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Octavio Loramendi hit a great ball. Programayin's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
