Elder Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gleszcz SSA's Ksawery Nakonieczny slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elder Monteiro. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Borys Majdoch during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Ksawery Nakonieczny was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 28 minutes had been played. A collision led to Gleszcz SSA getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ksawery Nakonieczny hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evandro Salles in the 31st minute of play forced Gleszcz SSA's goalkeeper Jerzy Zahemski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jerzy Zahemski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Elder Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stanislaw Podolski in the 39th minute. Elder Monteiro came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Gleszcz SSA's Juliusz Pacholewski. But to his dismay, Juliusz Pacholewski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 43rd minute, Hieronim Kajdasz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Breguete FC's Elder Monteiro got control of the ball when Juliusz Pacholewski tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juliusz Pacholewski made a kick off. Elder Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliusz Pacholewski in the 51st minute of the match. If Stanislaw Podolski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Sílvio Luiz Mendonça was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Breguete FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gleszcz SSA the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gleszcz SSA's Waldemar Sidorowicz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Breguete FC's Vitinho Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gleszcz SSA's Jerzy Zahemski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Gleszcz SSA from getting a goal against them. 73 minutes into the match, Breguete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juliusz Pacholewski came free, but Elder Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute Zé Pedro Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Zahemski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Stefan Piatek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 79 minutes, Stanislaw Podolski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gleszcz SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislaw Podolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerzy Zahemski was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Zé Pedro Pires capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zé Pedro Pires really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juliusz Pacholewski in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elder Monteiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute Stanislaw Podolski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elder Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gleszcz SSA's Jerzy Zahemski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Gleszcz SSA from getting a goal against them.
