The CAN ERZURUM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 20 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Bilgin Yenisey came free, but Niels Lettrari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Niels Lettrari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bilgin Yenisey went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Igor Pohl's late challenge caught a CAN ERZURUM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Pohl helped the player get up and apologised. Igor Pohl hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. DJK Füchtel Vechta's Niels Lettrari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilgin Yenisey in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Ottmar Renger got a free kick in the 29th minute. 33 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Bilgin Yenisey came free, but Niels Lettrari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Markus Alpermann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hilmi Yücetekin. That made the score 2-3 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Markus Alpermann got a free kick in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Helmuth Feller stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ottmar Renger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hilmi Yücetekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niels Lettrari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadir Gagauz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kadir Gagauz took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niels Lettrari. Niels Lettrari dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 66th minute Buğra Ünalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niels Lettrari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CAN ERZURUM booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helmuth Feller didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Niels Lettrari got control of the ball when Cankut Bakanay tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niels Lettrari made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Cankut Bakanay sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Buğra Ünalp got free with Niels Lettrari in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CAN ERZURUM's Hilmi Yücetekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Helmuth Feller in the 81st minute of play. Niels Lettrari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Buğra Ünalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the game, Rouven Dahmen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DJK Füchtel Vechta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAN ERZURUM the free kick. In the 93rd minute, Lino Bernhardt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niels Lettrari was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bilgin Yenisey. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for CAN ERZURUM. Bilgin Yenisey stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Niels Lettrari. 2-5.
