Spectators: 7737 (Terracing: 5804, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alberto Oinatz got the match started through his kick off. 7 minutes into the game, Alberto Oinatz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Stellenbosch's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pendex the free kick. After a rather tough play, Stellenbosch's Alberto Oinatz got a free kick in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silverio Garcia got free with Florentino Haimar in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Damaso Rik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Cheche having to interfere. Teobaldo Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Esdras in the 15th minute of play. Teobaldo Cheche came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Pendex's Igor Esdras. But to his dismay, Igor Esdras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 20 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Oinatz. In the 24th minute Alberto Oinatz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Cheche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Elorri, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Teobaldo Cheche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Gartzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Stellenbosch's Roman Gerazan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Roman Gerazan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Stellenbosch protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Roman Gerazan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Pendex booed when Stellenbosch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Nardo hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Ceferino Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pendex's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Cheche breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Stellenbosch getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Gerardo Costante hit a great ball. The Stellenbosch players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pendex were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Igor Esdras was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dalmacio Jacindo during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Dalmacio Jacindo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Cristian Gauargi fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pendex's protests and gave Cristian Gauargi a yellow card for diving instead. Cristian Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Florentino Haimar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Oinatz in the 55th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Gauargi got free with Teobaldo Cheche in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Godofredo Nayely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Teobaldo Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Marco Turi. 65 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Teobaldo Cheche had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Gauargi. Florentino Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iker Garin in the 69th minute of play. If Alberto Oinatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pendex's Florentino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Nardo in the 77th minute of play. Florentino Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Javier Nardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Stellenbosch's Modesto Fliz to fire away a dangerous shot which Florentino Haimar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Javier Nardo came free, but Florentino Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Stellenbosch fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Pendex were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
