The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wlodzimierz Fleszar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Pacholewski in the 7th minute of play. After 7 played minutes Gleszcz SSA got a freekick which was hit by Borys Majdoch. Zachariasz Chojnacki charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zachariasz Chojnacki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had been going on for 11 minutes, Grasshoppers Klucze's Teobald Snaza got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jerzy Zahemski. In the 15th minute Wit Jaworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Zahemski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Zahemski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wlodzimierz Basinski in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Grasshoppers Klucze's Wlodzimierz Basinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Zahemski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gleszcz SSA's Jerzy Zahemski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wit Jaworski in the 24th minute of play. Teobald Snaza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Jerzy Zahemski made a huge save. Stefan Piatek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wlodzimierz Fleszar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stefan Piatek kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juliusz Pacholewski to make the kick off. If Wit Jaworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gleszcz SSA defense, Teobald Snaza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerzy Zahemski. The Gleszcz SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerzy Zahemski should have stopped the shot. Wit Jaworski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jerzy Zahemski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Teobald Snaza notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Gleszcz SSA's Jerzy Zahemski. Jerzy Zahemski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wlodzimierz Fleszar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Witek, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Stanislaw Podolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Gleszcz SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Wlodzimierz Basinski came free, but Jerzy Zahemski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 76 played minutes Gleszcz SSA got a freekick which was hit by Borys Majdoch. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wlodzimierz Basinski in the 81st minute of play forced Gleszcz SSA's goalkeeper Jerzy Zahemski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wawrzyniec Witek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Grasshoppers Klucze getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Remigiusz Wydrych hit a great ball. Jurand Bartocha hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Wawrzyniec Witek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wlodzimierz Fleszar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes, Gleszcz SSA's Borys Majdoch shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wlodzimierz Fleszar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gleszcz SSA reached it.
