Jerzy Zahemski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gleszcz SSA's Jerzy Zahemski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilgin Yenisey in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Juliusz Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmi Yücetekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Zahemski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cankut Bakanay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Hilmi Yücetekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juliusz Pacholewski. Jerzy Zahemski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilgin Yenisey in the 24th minute of the match. Cankut Bakanay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Jerzy Zahemski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bilgin Yenisey in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Zahemski saved Gleszcz SSA from getting behind. CAN ERZURUM's Bilgin Yenisey was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jerzy Zahemski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Kadir Gagauz scored 0-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jerzy Zahemski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wawrzyniec Witek kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Gleszcz SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Cankut Bakanay came free, but Jerzy Zahemski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerzy Zahemski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilgin Yenisey, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Wawrzyniec Witek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stanislaw Podolski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilmi Yücetekin having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Wawrzyniec Witek reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hilmi Yücetekin. The goal made the score 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bilgin Yenisey to strike the kick off in the second half. Waldemar Sidorowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Stanislaw Podolski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gleszcz SSA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stanislaw Podolski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gleszcz SSA's zone, Kadir Gagauz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Zahemski came out of the goal and Kadir Gagauz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Cankut Bakanay lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Jerzy Zahemski. After 78 played minutes Gleszcz SSA got a freekick which was hit by Hieronim Kajdasz. After having played for 78 minutes, Bilgin Yenisey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CAN ERZURUM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bilgin Yenisey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, one of Gleszcz SSA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jerzy Zahemski had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Bilgin Yenisey's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 88th minute Juliusz Pacholewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilmi Yücetekin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CAN ERZURUM's Hilmi Yücetekin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Podolski in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanislaw Podolski in the 91st minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Hilmi Yücetekin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
