After a defensive mix-up in Platense es de Primera!!'s zone, Diego Banegas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Salvadore came out of the goal and Diego Banegas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rolando Erasto made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Bonifacio Ixidor sent off a good shot on target. Silvano Guib charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvano Guib the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Silvano Guib kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Octavio Bitxintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Arnoldo Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Rolando Erasto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julian Tercero. With a little luck, Estudiantes de América's Rolando Erasto got control of the ball when Bonifacio Ixidor tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ciro Arlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Elias Ospetsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Julian Tercero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Platense es de Primera!!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de América the free kick. Isaias Caetano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 39th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arnoldo Salvadore. Platense es de Primera!!'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Platense es de Primera!! booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Quiroga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Erasto made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Delmiro Opilano sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, Julian Tercero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bonifacio Ixidor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rolando Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Damario in the 52nd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Platense es de Primera!!'s Bonifacio Ixidor made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Erasto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th minute, Julian Tercero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elias Ospetsu struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Arnoldo Salvadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. Anselmo Orlan lost his temper 67 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Anselmo Orlan hit a great ball. Isaias Caetano kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Bonifacio Ixidor was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 72 played minutes Platense es de Primera!! got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Rudolfo. 76 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Delmiro Opilano came free, but Rolando Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnoldo Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Bitxintxo in the 78th minute of the match. Bonifacio Ixidor charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Ixidor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Platense es de Primera!! getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Bonifacio Ixidor hit a great ball. After having played for 87 minutes, Ciro Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Estudiantes de América's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ciro Arlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Salvadore having to interfere. Octavio Bitxintxo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Arnoldo Salvadore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de América. Bonifacio Ixidor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Erasto having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Estudiantes de América players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Platense es de Primera!!.
