Vascogoianiense FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Sebastian Kvernmo scored to the left of an out of position Olavo Fonseca, making the score, 1-0. Olavo Fonseca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christer Kaland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Camargo in the 35th minute of play forced Daustad's goalkeeper Alfred Isachsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Lars Obrestad hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vascogoianiense FC booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lars Obrestad didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Júnior Camargo to strike the kick off in the second half. Anderson Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Isachsen having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Vascogoianiense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Kvernmo came free, but Olavo Fonseca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júnior Camargo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Alfred Isachsen made a huge save. Olavo Fonseca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Kvernmo in the 87th minute of the match. Olavo Fonseca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Runar Holmgren, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
