Spectators: 7746 (Terracing: 5811, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Ignatios Brilakis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Makis Argyrakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Alfred Isachsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 7 minutes, Lars Obrestad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Daustad and the ΟΦΗ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Lars Obrestad. A collision led to ΟΦΗ getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Sofoklis Stathatos hit a great ball. Fanis Sigalas was a little too slow when Christer Kaland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 13th minute, Sofoklis Stathatos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Runar Holmgren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ΟΦΗ's Fanis Sigalas. Fanis Sigalas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Menios Taganikas got a free kick in the 16th minute. Lars Obrestad took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fanis Sigalas. ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ignatios Brilakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Isachsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Makis Argyrakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 28 played minutes, ΟΦΗ's Makis Argyrakis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfred Isachsen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ΟΦΗ reached it. Makis Argyrakis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Christer Kaland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Daustad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christer Kaland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Fanis Sigalas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Runar Holmgren. Menios Taganikas kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Alfred Isachsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Brilakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fanis Sigalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christer Kaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christer Kaland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fanis Sigalas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Kvernmo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Bjørdal kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's Makis Argyrakis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 66th match minute, ΟΦΗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Argyrakis to maneuver through the defense. Sofoklis Stathatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Jan-Frode Søderholm got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tobias Bjørdal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The supporters of Daustad booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Charalambidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Lars Obrestad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fanis Sigalas skillfully saved the ball. Alfred Isachsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignatios Brilakis in the 95th minute of the match. If Giorgos Katzelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Daustad players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
