Spectators: 7720 (Terracing: 5791, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zdzislaw Gongola got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Iwo Korytkowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Manos Papaiakovou was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Miromir Pietrasz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manos Papaiakovou was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. A collision led to Go Ahead Eagles getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Panagiotis Beloukas hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Nikos Moustos got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 14th minute, Go Ahead Eagles's Panagiotis Bourousis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gwidon Slazak. Gwidon Slazak yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Panagiotis Bourousis took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Gwidon Slazak to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd match minute, Go Ahead Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Christodoulou to maneuver through the defense. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zdzislaw Gongola in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iwo Korytkowski in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manos Papaiakovou prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Miromir Pietrasz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Papaiakovou. Go Ahead Eagles's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Pietrasz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Michal Kordalewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Manos Papaiakovou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Iwo Korytkowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christodoulos Vazakas hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miromir Pietrasz in the 45th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Panagiotis Bourousis made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match, Miromir Pietrasz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Manos Papaiakovou saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Panagiotis Bourousis put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gwidon Slazak. Remigiusz Kazanowski was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 60 minutes into the match. After 61 played minutes Fc Śrem Team got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Kazanowski. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwo Korytkowski got free with Manos Papaiakovou in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zdzislaw Gongola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christodoulos Vazakas's late challenge caught a Fc Śrem Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 76th minute Panagiotis Bourousis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Slazak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manos Papaiakovou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iwo Korytkowski in the 78th minute. Fc Śrem Team's Gwidon Slazak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Bourousis in the 83rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Apostolos Antoniou during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ntinos Vounatsos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Go Ahead Eagles had won after a very even match.
