Timo!'s Roque Montes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Timo! from getting a goal against them. Fanis Sigalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niguel Mansell, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, ΟΦΗ's Ignatios Brilakis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Roque Montes. Roque Montes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After some careless play in the ΟΦΗ defense, Humberto Mel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fanis Sigalas. The ΟΦΗ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fanis Sigalas should have stopped the shot. Franco Colapinto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fanis Sigalas having to make a save. Babbis Charalambidis's late challenge caught a Timo!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Babbis Charalambidis helped the player get up and apologised. After 25 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Babbis Charalambidis. Fanis Sigalas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 45th minute Humberto Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Sigalas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Timo! booed when ΟΦΗ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilias Lazanas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Humberto Mel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Timo!'s supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Mel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanis Sigalas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignatios Brilakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niguel Mansell in the 60th minute of play forced ΟΦΗ's goalkeeper Fanis Sigalas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute Ignatios Brilakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Herminio Rios got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Artemio Raphael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timo!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΟΦΗ the free kick. Makis Argyrakis shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Cayetano Dantel kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Timo!'s Roque Montes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sofoklis Stathatos in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th minute Makis Argyrakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo!'s Niguel Mansell got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Franco Colapinto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fanis Sigalas. The goal made the score 1-3. The ΟΦΗ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Timo! were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
