Spectators: 7736 (Terracing: 5803, Seating: 1779, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Niguel Mansell started the match with the kick off. Christodoulos Vazakas hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Micael in the 16th minute of play. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Timo!'s Niguel Mansell. But to his dismay, Niguel Mansell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Manos Papaiakovou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niguel Mansell in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Go Ahead Eagles booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niguel Mansell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Colapinto in the 27th minute of play. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 30th minute, Humberto Mel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manos Papaiakovou was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Roque Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giotis Kouloucheris in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Timo!'s Franco Colapinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manos Papaiakovou made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Manos Papaiakovou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franco Colapinto in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Ntinos Vounatsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The wind increased when Panagiotis Bourousis made the kick off in the second half. Go Ahead Eagles's Manos Papaiakovou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Micael in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Go Ahead Eagles's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Mel came free, but Manos Papaiakovou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manos Papaiakovou came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Timo!'s Humberto Mel. But to his dismay, Humberto Mel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Roque Montes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Bourousis in the 69th minute of the match. Manos Papaiakovou made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niguel Mansell in the 75th minute. Manos Papaiakovou was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Niguel Mansell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Niguel Mansell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. After a rather tough play, Go Ahead Eagles's Giotis Kouloucheris got a free kick in the 80th minute. Apostolos Antoniou charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Apostolos Antoniou the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Apostolos Antoniou hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Franco Colapinto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Manos Papaiakovou firmly grabbed it by the left post. Manos Papaiakovou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Mel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Timo!'s Warner Timo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ntinos Vounatsos hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Aquiles Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timo!'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
