The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Baumar got free with Arnold Petřek in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th match minute, FC Kopeto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vladislav Kolísek to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Congo Bongo's Maximiliano Baumar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnold Petřek. That made the score 1-0 after 28 minutes of play. Congo Bongo's Joaquin Pasqual shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnold Petřek but with some difficulty. Josef Slepička blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Maria having to make a save. With a little luck, FC Kopeto's Arnold Petřek got control of the ball when Maximiliano Baumar tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maximiliano Baumar in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Petřek saved FC Kopeto from getting behind. A collision led to FC Kopeto getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Vladislav Kolísek hit a great ball. Jacobo Raymon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Josef Winkler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Baltasar Maria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Winkler in the 52nd minute of play. In the 61stth minute of the game Maximiliano Baumar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Kopeto's Arnold Petřek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FC Kopeto's Miroslav Koňařík couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 66th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Congo Bongo. Mirko Branda lost his temper 73 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladislav Kolísek during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 93 played minutes FC Kopeto got a freekick which was hit by Vladislav Kolísek. In the 94th minute, Ciriaco Erlantz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Kopeto's Arnold Petřek didn't even have to move. Arnold Petřek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximiliano Baumar in the 95th minute of the match. 99 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Baumar came free, but Arnold Petřek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Congo Bongo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
