Justo Solustiano's late challenge caught a PREZULO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Independiente got a freekick which was hit by German Uhin. Independiente's Domingo Bidari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Independiente from getting a goal against them. 36 minutes into the match, Gualterio Salvator had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eurico da Mata. PREZULO FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gualterio Salvator was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Domingo Bidari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alexandre Loureiro went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Domingo Bidari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matheus de Souza in the 45th minute of the match. Freddy Romelio kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. PREZULO FC's Válbson Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The supporters of PREZULO FC booed when Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Uhin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus de Souza came free, but Domingo Bidari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Domingo Bidari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Carvalho in the 85th minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Solustiano to maneuver through the defense.
