The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Hakkı Devrim Geylanoğullarından managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC MANLE's supporters rose to their feet, but Hakkı Devrim Geylanoğullarından was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aloísio Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hakkı Devrim Geylanoğullarından could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Aloísio Vargas made a huge save. After some careless play in the FC MANLE defense, Perivaldo Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Volkan Ubeydullah. The FC MANLE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Volkan Ubeydullah should have stopped the shot. Volkan Ubeydullah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Chaves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vicente Chaves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Volkan Ubeydullah was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 94th match minute, FC MANLE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Davut Keskin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC MANLE's zone, Adelino Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Volkan Ubeydullah came out of the goal and Adelino Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cruzeiro Esporte Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
