With a little luck, Ampthill FC's Ralf Hudson got control of the ball when Agustin Jakobe tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Clemencin in the 87th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Ralf Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santos Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Hudson having to interfere. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Paul Francis hit a great ball. Roger Platt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. San Fernando Eagles walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
