Miklós Bökönyi charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miklós Bökönyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th match minute, Szittyák SE rege was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miklós Bökönyi to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Imre Cseh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szittyák SE rege fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Dániel Gál charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dániel Gál the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th minute, Roger Platt made a precise shot to the right of Mátyás Vadas. Szittyák SE rege's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 24th minute Miklós Bökönyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Hudson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Szittyák SE rege's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Albert Christensen scored to the left of an out of position Mátyás Vadas, making the score, 2-1. Dylon Farmer kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 30 minutes, Lóránt Barabás managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Szittyák SE rege's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lóránt Barabás was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Larry Hallam hit a great ball. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Szittyák SE rege was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dániel Gál didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th minute, Johnathan Morse ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mátyás Vadas was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miklós Bökönyi in the 43rd minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Ralf Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mátyás Vadas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Morse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Imre Cseh in the 51st minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Ralf Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miklós Bökönyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mihály Gerebics fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Hudson having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Szittyák SE rege got a freekick which was hit by Endre Zentay. A collision led to Ampthill FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Larry Hallam hit a great ball. Ralf Hudson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Imre Cseh, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ralf Hudson was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Miklós Bökönyi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Miklós Bökönyi really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Ampthill FC's Ralf Hudson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Imre Cseh in the 72nd minute of play. When Dániel Gál was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. A collision led to Szittyák SE rege getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Dániel Gál hit a great ball. Miklós Bökönyi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Hudson having to interfere. The supporters of Szittyák SE rege booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Hallam didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 80 played minutes Ampthill FC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Francis. Miklós Bökönyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ralf Hudson made a huge save. In the 85th minute, Larry Hallam hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Szittyák SE rege players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ampthill FC.
