Felippe Guerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Natã Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubens Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubens Félix was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Atlético da Colina getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Tiago Gabriel Linares hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 55 minutes, Natã Gerber successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 63 minutes into the game, Tiago Gabriel Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Felippe Guerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rubens Félix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Natã Gerber made a huge save. 70 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's Carlos Alberto Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natã Gerber narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Pedro Paulo Maranhense was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. The supporters of Belo Academy booed when Atlético da Colina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Paulo Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Daniel Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Gabriel Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Basílio Mello hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Atlético da Colina's Edmundo Trancoso got a free kick in the 94th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atlético da Colina had played much better football throughout.
