Rubens Félix struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ralf Hudson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belo Academy. In the 11th minute, one of Belo Academy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belo Academy. In the 14th minute there was a penalty for Ampthill FC. Jamie Kemp stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felippe Guerra. 0-1. Barry Poynton scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felippe Guerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Platt in the 25th minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Felippe Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Ralf Hudson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Alberto Leal. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Larry Hallam got a free kick in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Platt in the 38th minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Felippe Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ampthill FC booed when Belo Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Roger Platt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampthill FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belo Academy the free kick. In the 45th match minute, Ampthill FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Platt to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Alberto Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roger Platt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Carlos Alberto Leal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ralf Hudson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Belo Academy's goalkeeper Felippe Guerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gwyn Halliwell. Ozzy Etherington kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Rubens Félix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vito Quadros hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Jeremy Coombe kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Ampthill FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Mazza came free, but Ralf Hudson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Hudson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rubens Félix's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Ralf Hudson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Felippe Guerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwyn Halliwell in the 75th minute of play. A collision led to Belo Academy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leopoldo Senna hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Platt in the 79th minute of play forced Belo Academy's goalkeeper Felippe Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Félix in the 83rd minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Ralf Hudson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felippe Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnathan Morse in the 94th minute of the match. Felippe Guerra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Roger Platt went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Ampthill FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
