Luisito Atauri was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Atauri couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, Rubens Félix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Constantino Elija was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Elija showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
