Spectators: 7862 (Terracing: 5898, Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 156) Kasper Munkvold started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ronnie Blakeley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Kasper Munkvold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dylan Bartlett having to make a save. In the 21st minute, Edvin Fleischer made a precise shot to the right of Dylan Bartlett. Coventry Wasps's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 25 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Ludvig Lunden came free, but Dylan Bartlett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Leif Mæhlum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Coventry Wasps's Greg Corcoran got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stan Bancroft during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Stan Bancroft. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Ludvig Lunden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brufoss IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Ludvig Lunden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ronnie Blakeley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Philip Molland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kasper Munkvold's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kasper Munkvold helped the player get up and apologised. Kasper Munkvold kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Philip Molland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Coventry Wasps players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brufoss IL were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronnie Blakeley was the one to do the kick off. Philip Molland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Blakeley in the 53rd minute of play. Greg Corcoran charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Greg Corcoran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Greg Corcoran. After a defensive mix-up in Coventry Wasps's zone, Kasper Munkvold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Bartlett came out of the goal and Kasper Munkvold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Kris Oddy got a free kick in the 64th minute. Brufoss IL's Odin Huse was substituted for Ludvig Lunden. 70 minutes into the match, Lucas Bridgewater notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brufoss IL's Philip Molland. Philip Molland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Coventry Wasps's Vernon Myers was substituted for Kris Oddy. Philip Molland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Blakeley in the 75th minute of the match. Coventry Wasps's Dylan Bartlett proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Coventry Wasps from getting a goal against them. Philip Molland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Bridgewater in the 84th minute of play. Lucas Bridgewater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brufoss IL's Philip Molland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Blakeley in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bruce Roche hit a great ball. Dylan Bartlett made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Kasper Munkvold sent off a good shot on target. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
