Dylan Bartlett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartosz Komanski, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor got control of the ball when Greg Corcoran tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 9th minute Bartosz Komanski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Bartlett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute, Kris Oddy made a precise shot to the right of Edgar Piszczor. Jadymy Durś's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Kevin Pilgrim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry Wasps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jadymy Durś the free kick. Edgar Piszczor came out of the goal and Lucas Bridgewater tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Bartosz Komanski came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Jadymy Durś fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bartosz Komanski couldn't finish the play. Dylan Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wiktor Fronczak in the 28th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Piszczor. Edgar Piszczor yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 37 minutes into the game, Ronnie Blakeley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Edgar Piszczor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 40 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronnie Blakeley. Dylan Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartosz Komanski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Piszczor was a little too slow when Ronnie Blakeley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Wiktor Fronczak made the kick off in the second half. If Kris Oddy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Greg Corcoran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Piszczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Oddy in the 66th minute of the match. Kris Oddy took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Piszczor. Edgar Piszczor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Kris Oddy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Vernon Myers replaced Kris Oddy. 81 minutes into the match, Vernon Myers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Piszczor. Jadymy Durś's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vernon Myers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. After having played for 83 minutes, Lucas Bridgewater managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coventry Wasps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Bridgewater was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bartlomiej Gondela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Piszczor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Bridgewater in the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's goal looked a bit too open when Vernon Myers came free, but Edgar Piszczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Piszczor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Corcoran in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Ronnie Blakeley left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coventry Wasps fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronnie Blakeley in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Coventry Wasps fully deserved thier win.
