The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Connor Haugue kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ronnie Blakeley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Troiani having to interfere. Anselmo Troiani made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Kris Oddy sent off a good shot on target. Ronnie Blakeley succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 12th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Bridgewater kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Anselmo Troiani. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. After 22 minutes, Franco Torri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ASD Real Molinella 1911 and the Coventry Wasps players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when ASD Real Molinella 1911 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franco Torri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Benjamin Wiley fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coventry Wasps's protests and gave Benjamin Wiley a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ASD Real Molinella 1911 booed when Coventry Wasps was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benjamin Wiley didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to ASD Real Molinella 1911 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Franco Torri hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute of the match Greg Corcoran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anselmo Troiani skillfully saved the ball. Kris Oddy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Anselmo Troiani made a huge save. Attilio Casiraghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Dylan Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Vianello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Bartlett having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Felice Di Cristofaro made the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Troiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Oddy in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Coventry Wasps's Ronnie Blakeley made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anselmo Troiani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Anselmo Troiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Blakeley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fabrizio Fortuna kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Franco Torri was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 62 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Corcoran in the 66th minute of play forced ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Anselmo Troiani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kris Oddy hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The Coventry Wasps fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Vernon Myers replaced Kris Oddy. Anselmo Troiani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Bridgewater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Attilio Casiraghi came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Casiraghi couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Troiani came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater. But to his dismay, Lucas Bridgewater quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. 85 minutes into the game, Attilio Casiraghi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dylan Bartlett. Attilio Casiraghi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. Anselmo Troiani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Bridgewater in the 89th minute of the match. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when ASD Real Molinella 1911 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camillo Guidoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in ASD Real Molinella 1911's zone, Ronnie Blakeley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anselmo Troiani came out of the goal and Ronnie Blakeley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Benjamin Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ASD Real Molinella 1911's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
