Spectators: 7833 (Terracing: 5876, Seating: 1801, VIP seats: 156) Coventry Wasps's Ronnie Blakeley started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Rolf Heers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jorg Vrijdags took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dylan Bartlett. Dylan Bartlett dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. When Lucas Bridgewater came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Coventry Wasps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucas Bridgewater couldn't finish the play. If Lucas Bridgewater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 30 minutes on the clock, Kevin Pilgrim commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Kevin Pilgrim kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alex Maenhout managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fox Hunting Squad's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Maenhout was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thomas Tael hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Robbin Panhuyse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Bridgewater went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After 39 played minutes Fox Hunting Squad got a freekick which was hit by Lennart Steckens. In the 40th minute, Lucas Bridgewater ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robbin Panhuyse was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Kris Oddy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbin Panhuyse having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibau Leemans to make the kick off. Jorg Vrijdags did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Dylan Bartlett 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibau Leemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tibau Leemans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dylan Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 80 minutes, Greg Corcoran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coventry Wasps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greg Corcoran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ronnie Blakeley kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Coventry Wasps's goal looked a bit too open when Jorg Vrijdags came free, but Dylan Bartlett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute of the match, Jorg Vrijdags tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dylan Bartlett saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
