Spectators: 7745 (Terracing: 5810, Seating: 1781, VIP seats: 154) Brufoss IL's Kasper Munkvold started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lucas Bridgewater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Theodor Tvedten got a free kick in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucas Bridgewater in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Molland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Eskil Almaas hit a great ball. After 12 minutes, Stan Bancroft mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Coventry Wasps and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kasper Munkvold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Philip Molland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronnie Blakeley in the 19th minute of the match. Kasper Munkvold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Ronnie Blakeley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philip Molland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ludvig Lunden's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ludvig Lunden helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Ludvig Lunden got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Kasper Munkvold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donny Paget during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ronnie Blakeley to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Lucas Bridgewater had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Philip Molland. Brufoss IL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Bridgewater was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ronnie Blakeley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronnie Blakeley might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Philip Molland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronnie Blakeley ran back to his position shaking his head. Philip Molland was a little too slow when Ronnie Blakeley got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eskil Almaas hit a great ball. Ronnie Blakeley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Philip Molland having to interfere. When Ronnie Blakeley came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Coventry Wasps fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronnie Blakeley couldn't finish the play. Ronnie Blakeley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Philip Molland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Philip Molland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronnie Blakeley's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Lucas Bridgewaters short, quick shot in the 88thth minute got Philip Molland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Philip Molland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Bridgewater in the 91st minute. Ronnie Blakeley received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Philip Molland came out and tried to block the shot, but Ronnie Blakeley slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 96th minute. The Brufoss IL fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Coventry Wasps were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
