With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Paublo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 5th minute, Fabio Semeno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Bridgewater in the 6th minute of play forced Tello AFC's goalkeeper Donato Paublo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Ronnie Blakeley got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute, Fabio Semeno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's Fabio Semeno sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dylan Bartlett narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Donato Paublo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Blakeley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Justino Kismi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Kismi got free with Dylan Bartlett in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Tello AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ramon Jaume hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Lucas Bridgewater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Paublo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariano Beliran hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Mariano Beliran got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 46 minutes of play, Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Paublo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Ronnie Blakeley made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Coventry Wasps booed when Tello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donato Paublo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Corcoran in the 57th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a little luck, Tello AFC's Donato Paublo got control of the ball when Stan Bancroft tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Stan Bancroft had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Justino Kismi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Bartlett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dylan Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Berto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Lucio Foro got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some careless play in the Coventry Wasps defense, Lucio Foro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dylan Bartlett. The Coventry Wasps fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dylan Bartlett should have stopped the shot. Donato Paublo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Blakeley, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Isaias Michael's late challenge caught a Coventry Wasps's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaias Michael helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Tello AFC's Isaias Michael got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 79th minute Lucio Foro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Bartlett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Michael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Bartlett having to interfere. Donny Paget kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Coventry Wasps's Lucas Bridgewater dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. If Alfonso Berto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Isaias Michael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Tello AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Coventry Wasps's performance. The match ended with a win for Coventry Wasps.
