Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Fox Hunting Squad from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the game, Kasper Munkvold recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Robbin Panhuyse. Kasper Munkvold showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Rune Skorstad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Robbin Panhuyse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Brufoss IL players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fox Hunting Squad were winning 1-2.

The supporters of Fox Hunting Squad booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kim-André Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philip Molland was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alex Maenhout showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 54 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Tore Fagermo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fox Hunting Squad had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
