An unexpectedly hard shot by Sálvio Sá in the 3rd minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Udo Gellrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Sporting Clube Patrício's Egídio Trindade dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. If Patrick Ritzmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SV Klingsmoos booed when Sporting Clube Patrício was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Trindade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Egídio Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Ritzmann in the 26th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sálvio Sá got free with Udo Gellrich in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 34 minutes into the game, Patrick Ritzmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Klingsmoos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Patrício the free kick. Patrick Ritzmann kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the game, Tarcísio Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Clube Patrício's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SV Klingsmoos the free kick. In the 40th minute, Tarcísio Lopes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henning Schmitter took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viriato Leal. Sporting Clube Patrício's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Tarcísio Lopes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 45 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Tarcísio Lopes got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute of the match Igor Eckert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Viriato Leal skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Sálvio Sá made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinaldo Quental in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Udo Gellrich prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Henning Schmitter kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Claudemiro Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sálvio Sá in the 60th minute of play forced SV Klingsmoos's goalkeeper Udo Gellrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Clube Patrício from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal got control of the ball when Patrick Ritzmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 minutes, Igor Eckert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SV Klingsmoos and the Sporting Clube Patrício players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SV Klingsmoos getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Igor Eckert hit a great ball. Sporting Clube Patrício's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
