Udo Gellrich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Norström, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute, Pitt Terwiesche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Udo Gellrich took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joseph Cane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Ephraim Stübgen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sverker Mellbad was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Loy Berns took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Sverker Mellbad to make any attempt to save it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ephraim Stübgen to strike the kick off in the second half. Sverker Mellbad came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Klingsmoos's Pitt Terwiesche. But to his dismay, Pitt Terwiesche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Roy Hellkvist hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Sverker Mellbad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ephraim Stübgen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roy Hellkvist during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Roy Hellkvist hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Here Comes the Hammer's Leo Norström got a free kick in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Schreiber in the 76th minute of play forced Here Comes the Hammer's goalkeeper Sverker Mellbad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SV Klingsmoos.
